Acom 1200S Mosfet linear amplifier 1.8-54 MHz
Ref: 1200S
On arrival, ask for delivery times.5 inch (5") high resolution color display (108x65mm), 800x480 pixels and 24-bit color.
The final stage uses BLF188 type field effect transistors (MOSFETs). NXP, designed to withstand high output discrepancy (SWR) and intended for operation in aerospace, industrial, mobile and broadcast applications.
Compatible with all transceiver models available on the market - not requires special signals: “ground to transmission” is sufficient (PTT) and 50W of RF drive power.
Wideband input circuit providing perfect transceiver load with SWR less than 1.2:1 (typically 1.1:1), without retuning throughout the frequency range from 1.8 to 54 MHz
The overall operation of the ACOM 1200S is extremely simplified: the menus on screen are intuitive and easy to follow and no special skills are required by the operator when changing frequency bands
Possibility of automatic control - when connected to a transceiver with a CAT interface, the amplifier constantly monitors, duly follows the operating frequency and changes bands accordingly.
Even if not connected to the CAT interface, the amplifier monitors the frequency of the input signal through the built-in frequency counter and switches the bands automatically.
Remotely controlled by RS232 interface.
It takes care of itself during operation thanks to protection circuits which work continuously in all modes.
The operator can digitally monitor more than 10 parameters regarding the regime operation of the amplifier.
Easy maintenance: detailed data (55 parameters) relating to each of the last 28 serious fault protection trips are stored in the memory non-volatile of the amplifier.
Convenient for expeditions and field operations: Extremely compact construction and lightweight, extended mains voltage range (93 V ÷ 265 V), limited peak current and purely sinusoidal consumed supply current, automatic correction power factor (PFC) - all parameters significant in operation from unstable mains, generators etc. characteristics achieved thanks to the power supply integrated switching (SMPS).
Perfect electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) with both high sensitivity and with the powerful equipment of the radio station (receivers, computers, multiple amplifiers) that exceed standard EMC requirements through the use of PFCs and radio frequency Additional integrated filters.
