- Easy to use
The TRI is
a powerful adjustment aid that, together with the input attenuator to control
Automatic, helps the operator to quickly and accurately match the impedance
antenna for the optimal load impedance of the tube (5-10 seconds typically). There
Auto-run function (if enabled) keeps the amplifier in mode
to work for you, avoiding unnecessary manual operations.
- No antenna tuners
No heavy outboard antenna tuners required for the antenna. VSWRs
up to about 3:1. The amplifier will allow you to change the antennas so
practically instantaneous and allow the antennas to be used across frequency ranges
wider.
- Easy to use
An amplifier
which is both easy to use and looks after itself. It was designed to
Safely withstand up to 300W reflected power, up to 100 milliseconds
duration of hard tips, RF unit "tails" after a PTT release or, commissioning errors
at involuntary points of the operator etc. The amplifier also does not stop
run on a "soft" AC mains and will offer more than half power at only 85%
of the nominal mains voltage. It can withstand voltage drops (down to zero
volts) for up to 10 milliseconds and can tolerate 15% surges
network, which is especially important in Field Day, during DXpeditions,
and at portable operational events where emergency power is required
invoked.
- VFD display
All directions
Amplifier statuses are explained via detailed displayed text
on the dot matrix, vacuum high brightness fluorescent display (VFD).
The top line on the VFD always reads peak power forward. indicators
LEDs are provided: mode, dimming-on, transmit, selected operate
the antenna output, and the / OFF conditions.
- Three antenna outputs
Three
Antenna outputs are selectable with a button on the front panel.
- Easy maintenance
Data regarding the internal state of the amplifier is stored in a memory
non-volatile for 7 of the latest automatic protection trips. This information
can be sent to your dealer for diagnostics.
- QSK Virtually silent
To avoid input and the empty antenna are virtually silent too
CW QSK mode thanks to specially designed mounting hardware.
- Broadband input matching
Resulting in very good load to the transceiver over the entire 1.8-54MHz spectrum.
- Single 4CX1000A tube
Uses
a radial ceramic and metal beam tetrode with dissipation plate
1000W which is specially designed for class AB1 RF amplifier operation
linear.
- Hose protection
Monitoring
and the protection of the plate and permanent grid voltages and currents as well
exhaust air temperature.
