Midland presents the first PMR446 vehicular transceiver. It's an absolute novelty! Despite its aesthetics reminiscent of a CB, GB1-R can operate on UHF 400-480 MHz, PMR446 and LPD frequencies, not being affected by the disturbances generated by your vehicle's engine!

GB1-R is a compact radio with very small dimensions - 100x85x22mm, reliable and extremely robust thanks to the metal chassis with which it is built. GB1R is equipped with an integrated magnetic antenna and a 12V cigarette lighter socket which allows you to quickly install and remove the radio without having to fix it in the appropriate compartment on the dashboard like for CBs.

For a fixed installation it is possible to position the GB1-R in various points of the passenger compartment, for example on the dashboard using the fixing bracket supplied.

The Flip function allows you to position the radio either with the speaker facing up or down and the indication on the display will be shown correctly in both ways.

GB1-R is the ideal radio for those traveling in campers, cars or for camping.

It can also be used as a base station to converse with anyone who has a traditional walkie talkie that operates on the PMR446 or LPD frequency (for example: G5 XT, G7 and G9 series, etc.).
