The Yaesu FTA-550 AA aeronautical transceiver features an advanced user interface featuring a high-definition display that ensures intuitive operation and optimized performance .

YAESU FTA-550 AA is an aeronautical transceiver with ILS (glide localizer and guidance) and VOR navigation.

NAVIGATION SCREEN VOR
When the FTA-750 receives a VOR signal, the display will automatically switch to the NAV screen side showing a CDI based on the received signal.

The FTA-550 has been tested and compliant with the MIL-STD-810F military standard. Similar to Land Mobile commercial radios, all current Yaesu Airband transceivers have been tested to last against low temperatures, high temperatures, shock, vibration, dust and rain, ensuring many years of rugged use.

The FTA-550 can store up to 200 memory channels for quick and easy retrieval. With the ability to use up to 15 alphanumeric characters per name, the FTA-550 allows for better channel description.
