We are pleased to present the new FT5DE, 5W C4FM/FM Dual Band digital transceiver
144/430MHz.

The new FT5DE is a complete C4FM portable transceiver with advanced and new operation
sophisticated functions.
Even in a compact case (W62mm x D34mm x H100mm), the FT5DE provides reliable power
of 5W RF output and reaches an audio power of 1W which has been optimized to offer the best
audio quality for a transceiver of this size. Real Dual operations on the new FT5DE
Bands (V+V, U+U, V+U, U+V) are possible thanks to two independent receivers. Large LED indicators
individual for band A and band B instantly present the status and communication modes
(C4FM or analog) of each band. The new FT5DE supports simultaneous digital C4FM (standby
C4FM/C4FM).
With a rubber protector on the corner of the main body, the FT5DE has a sturdy construction and
impact resistant. The waterproof rating offered is IPX7. The comfortable size and shape of the
completely flat back body offer excellent hand feel and ergonomics for
the operator.
A high resolution display highlights the frequency of the operating band. The color of frequency
of the operating band can be selected from white, blue or red. Three (3) panel keys
touchscreen and seven (7) operation keys under the display provide intuitive operation.
The new TOUCH & GO function is convenient to immediately start communications on one
frequency of frequent use. By holding down the "PMG" button, the current display frequency comes on
registered in the primary storage group. After registration, pressing the "PMG" button will display the receiving status
of the frequencies recorded on a histogram (facilitating the monitoring of the activity on the various frequencies). Touching
simply one of the bars, the user can instantly recall that frequency. (TOUCH & GO operation).
The Band Scope feature monitors up to 79 channels in real time displayed centered on the current VFO frequency. The frequency
center can be tuned via the selector knob or by touching and moving the frequency of a channel bar
displayed.
With the new FT5DE, the C4FM digital communication functions already widespread on the market are available, such as: Automatic
Mode Select (AMS), Digital Group ID (DG-ID) operation and Smart Navigation. The FT5DE also supports digital node function
portable WiRES-X. A portable digital node can be easily configured with the new FT5DE, a connected mobile PC
to the Internet and the optional SCU-39 cable kit.
Additionally, the advanced features of the new FT5DE are: Hands-free wireless operation using Bluetooth® headset
optional (SSM-BT10); VOX function; Automatic memory grouping (MAG); VFO band skip function;
Wide range RX coverage with continuous reception from 0.5 MHz to 999.99 MHz (A band) and from 108 MHz to 580 MHz (A band)
B); Built-in 66 channel high sensitivity GPS receiver; 1200/9600 bps APRS data modem; High quality lithium ion battery
2,200 mAh capacity (SBR-14LI) as standard; Voice recording function; Receiving simultaneous AM/FM broadcasts
when monitoring two frequency channels; microSD card slot.
The new quick release holster (SHB-26) is included in the FT5DE package as a supplied accessory that allows
attach and detach the transceiver with a single touch while wearing the holster on your belt.
