Technical specifications:

The Status Quad antennas for 6 meters and VHF are always made with the same attention to detail as the HF models. We looked for solutions that would make the antenna mechanically reliable and easy to assemble.

Details boom

The connection plate entirely in aluminum cut and drilled with numerical control machines. Boom housing hollowed out in the plate to avoid any movement. Aluminum U-bolts to tighten must from 40 to 65 mm. Boom made of aluminum square profile 50x50 thickness 2 mm.

Antenna elements

The elements are made of 10 mm diameter VTR rod, the conductor is connected to the elements via nocks made to a design and Status Quad project.

Loop antenna

The antenna loops are made of 2.57 mm diameter aluminum braid.
