This monoband vehicle antenna makes HF operation from your car easy and fun! The small stylus is lightweight, efficient, and super easy to use. The centrally distributed load allows for efficient radiation - you get more power per DX. Each element is a solid structure. A 122 cm heavy duty rod with a diameter of 0.95 cm in almost indestructible fiberglass, 3 mm stainless steel whip. and chrome-plated brass fittings will give you years of reliable service. Its low profile construction has low wind load and its semi-rigid fiberglass eliminates the need for springs or guy wires. A black anti-static sheath protects the loading coil and matches any vehicle.
The stainless steel whisk is adjustable for lower SWR. Includes Allen key and full tuning instructions. Handles 250 Watts PEP. Approximately 214cm. in height.
These monoband MFJs are available for 6 meters and for every HF band. They have a simple 3/8 x 24 thread for quick mounting and quick band changes. Magnetic bases, 3/8-PL adapters and supports with 3/8" connection are available for mounting these antennas.
