The coaxial cable mapper was created to confidently identify coaxial cables in complex cabling. It is a portable tool, suitable for use in the CATV video system installation and maintenance industry. Thanks to this tool it will be possible to quickly and safely test multiple coaxial cables terminated with F-type connectors.

The MPT-4 can also be used as a signal generator to identify coaxial cables in complex cabling systems and equipped with a rye splitter.

With its four remote terminations, coded by a serial number, the MPT-4 can help trace and identify any type of coaxial cable.

- Remote detection signaling LED;

- Anomaly shutdown LED;

- status LED;

- Voltage/Low Battery indication LED

- TEST button.

SPECIFICATIONS :

- AUTO SHUTDOWN : 12 seconds after completing the Pass/Fail test. 30 minutes in "Tone" mode;

- MAXIMUM LENGTH OF THE CABLE TO BE TESTED : approximately 1200m;

- MAXIMUM RESISTANCE OF THE DC CABLE (Between screen and central pole): 100 ohm;

NOTE: The mapper cannot be used to test cables that have an AC - DC voltage, on cables connected to amplifier circuits, DC blocking devices or isolation splitters.
