Up to 128 memory channels in 8 banks
The IC-F5122D series transceivers are capable of storing up to 128 channels
divided into 8 banks. The selection of memory channels can be performed via the
up/down buttons.
LCD alphanumeric display
8-character, 14-segment LCD alphanumeric display, capable of displaying a
large variety of information. The icon displayed in the upper right part of the
display indicates that the scanning function is active.
4W audio output (typical) with built-in front speaker
4W audio output and front speaker for optimal audio performance.
Built-in 2-tone/5-tone signaling function
The IC-F5122 series transceivers incorporate 2-tone, 5-tone signaling systems
tones, CTCSS and DTCS for individual and group calls. In addition, the device is capable
to decode up to 10 2-tone codes or 8 5-tone codes. It is possible to program
different response actions to each code, such as: Audible warning – Visual indication
ringing (bell) – Answer back – Automatic transmission – disable
and remote reactivation – Scan – Activation of an external output*.
* Connection of an external device such as a horn speaker, buzzer etc. is required.
Compatible with MDC1200 protocol
The following selective calling and ANI features are available for MDC signaling:
- PTT ID
- Radio Check (RX only)
- Radio Revive (RX only)
- Emergency (without ACK transmission)
- Radio stun (receive only)
- Up to 500 alias tables
Talk Back function and Call mode
With the Talk Back function enabled, the IC-F5122D transceivers automatically select
the channel and ID (individual or group; in IDAS digital mode only) of the last received call, while scanning stops or restarts after a preset period of time.
A specific timer warns with an acoustic signal when the talk back time expires. Thanks to this function, the operator can quickly answer each incoming call.
Other features
- PTT ID transmission in BIIS mode
- 8 DTMF memories with autodial function
- Frequency stability of ±1.0ppm in both VHF and UHF.
- Programming software compatible with IC-F3102D series
Supplied with: HM-152 handheld microphone, power cable, microphone bracket, kit
assembly instructions, button assignment labels and user manual.
