Entry level digital IDAS series

The IDAS IC-F3103D / F4103D series portable radios are small, easy-to-use radios that are capable of both analog and digital radio communications on a single channel. The IC-F3102D / F4102D series are incredibly simple to use and have functions that do not require an LCD and keypad. Additionally, the IC-F3103D / F4103D series are compatible with IDAS conventional single-site and multi-site trunking, providing a cost-effective digital migration path from analog.

Channel Announcement:
When you rotate the channel knob, the IC-F3103D/F4103D series will announce the channel number in English, which is ideal for workers in dark environments.

Optional GPS speaker, HM-171GP:
When used with the new HM-171GP GPS speaker microphone, the IC-F3103D / F4103D series can send its GPS location data with voice or emergency signal.

800mW audio output power:
The built-in BTL (bridge-tied load) amplifier provides a powerful 800mW* audio output from the large 45mm speaker. The radio delivers loud, intelligible audio even in noisy environments. (*Typical with internal speaker)

Simple operation for instant communication
The IC-F3103D / F4103D Series is so easy to use that no special training is required. The few knobs and buttons are generously sized for ease of use and are designed to provide a non-slip, positive action, even when wearing gloves. This simple interface makes it ideal for high-turnover and shift work environments where the radio is constantly being passed from person to person.

Three types of batteries to choose from:
The IC-F3103D / F4103D series has three types of battery packs and case for you to choose from. Rechargeable lithium-ion (Li-Ion) battery, BP-265, nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) battery, BP-264 and battery case, BP-263 are freely selectable.

Rugged construction IP54 and MIL-STD-810-F
The IC-F3103D / F4103D is tested for dust protection and water resistance equivalent to IP54 and 11 categories of the MIL-STD-810 environmental test. In short, this radio is tough!

Internal VOX functionality for hands-free operation
The radio has built-in VOX functionality for hands-free operation. Optional compatible headphones with OPC-2004 plug adapter cable can be used with the radio. In addition, VOX gain and VOX delay time are adjustable.

5-Tone Selective Encoder/Decoder
5-tone signaling provides selective calling, silent standby and other convenient functions with programming. The "stun/kill" function deactivates a radio over the air and the "revive" function restores the deactivated radio.

CTCSS/DTCS encoder/decoder
The IC-F3103D/F4103D series has added the high-speed CTCSS/DTCS decoder to reduce the decoding speed to almost half of the conventional model of IC-F15 series.

Scanning functions
One or two priority channels can be monitored even while scanning other non-priority channels. The Tx channel and talk back functions allow for quick response during scanning.

"Lone worker" function
When the radio is not used for a preset period of time, any radio operation is required with an audible signal. If the radio is not used within that preset time, an emergency signal will automatically transmit and alert the colleague or clerk of potential problems.
