Top Class Dynamic Microphone
From the ham radio division of Heil Sound, Ltd., we present the PR 781, a professional quality ham radio dynamic cardioid microphone specifically designed for use with most top-of-the-line transceivers from Kenwood, Yaesu, Ten Tec and iCOM.
This is a truly remarkable dynamic microphone. Icom asked Heil engineers to develop a very special microphone for their new iC 7800 radio. They didn't just want a microphone; they wanted a SUPER microphone for a super radio. Heil's PR 780 was born. The PR 781 is an improvement of the popular PR 780. The PR 781 pairs beautifully into almost all microphone inputs, such as Kenwood TS 870, 950, 890 and 990. Also Icom Pro 1, 2, 3, Yaesu Mark 5 series, MP , 2000, 5000 and 9000.
Using one of the dynamic elements from Heil's broadcast division, the PR 781 offers a beautiful wide frequency response while maintaining the traditional Heil Sound articulation of the vocal pattern, something that ALL microphones seem to neglect and which has been the mainstay of Heil's "line up". Heil Sound.
Available shock absorbers are mounts with PRSM and SM-2 shock absorbers.
