The WD-330 was born from a project for severe applications in the commercial broadcast field from 2 to 30 MHz, adapted to the space requirements typical of European radio amateurs: a very valid choice from a qualitative point of view. It is made of copper braid specific for use, covered with excellent quality protective PVC. Supplied complete with exceptionally robust fiberglass spacers, broadband tuner and balun, allowing adaptation to the 50 ohm power line. It arrives already pre-calibrated and assembled. You will therefore not have to measure, cut, stretch or calibrate anything. The WD-330S can be installed horizontally for maximum efficiency, but can very well be installed as an inverted "V" and as a sloper. Some appear to have already installed them in "sloper" systems composed of multiple, single or coupled WD-330 antennas to obtain greater gain, directivity and signal discrimination. If mounted sufficiently far from obstacles and metal structures, the performance is very good and the ROS is within specifications.
