ARD-300 permette di decodificare comunicazioni digitali in formato \u003cstrong\u003eDMR (Digital Mobile Radio MOTOTRBO Motorola),\u003c\/strong\u003e ICOM DSTAR GMSK AMBE, ALINCO GMSK AMBE, YAESU C4FM, DCR, dPMR, NXDN, APCO-25 (fase 1, modo convenzionale). Insomma, tutti i formati digitali amatoriali, professionali e militari attualmente in uso. L’ampio display LCD da otto caratteri su due linee e i tasti di selezione posti sul pannello consentono una rapida \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003ee semplice configurazione di tutti i modi di funzionamento. È ovviamente compatibile con tutti i ricevitori AOR ma \u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003epuò essere collegato a qualsiasi ricevitore purché dotato di uscita IF a 10,7 MHz oppure a 45,05 MHz. Funziona con i 12 volt forniti da un apposito adattatore in dotazione. Dispone di altoparlante interno di elevata potenza, 700 mWatt  @ 8 ?,  quando è connesso all’uscita audio del ricevitore permette un agevole ascolto dei segnali sia analogici che digitali.
